The Titan USA CD50321 is a cobalt high-speed steel jobber length drill bit with a 135-degree split point and gold oxide finish. Cobalt steel alloy (M35) provides significantly higher hot hardness than standard HSS, enabling this drill to maintain a sharp cutting edge at the temperatures generated when drilling stainless steel, hardened steel, titanium, Inconel, and heat-resistant super alloys that destroy conventional HSS bits prematurely. The 135-degree split point self-centers on contact without a center punch, reduces walking on hard or curved workpiece surfaces, and requires less thrust force than a standard 118-degree point — a meaningful advantage in hard materials where controlled, consistent drilling pressure is essential. Jobber length provides the versatility needed for through-holes, clearance holes, tap drill applications, and general drilling across a wide range of workpiece sizes.
