The Trace-Lite LE-MS2 High Bay PIR Motion Sensor is a LiteLogic-compatible, external lighting control device designed for high-bay and large-area commercial applications. Engineered as a line-voltage sensor, the LE-MS2 provides occupancy sensing, daylight harvesting, and wireless Bluetooth mesh control in a single, flexible unit for standalone or networked lighting systems. Designed for external mounting, the LE-MS2 installs directly onto luminaires or electrical enclosures, providing greater installation flexibility compared to integrated sensors. The unit is equipped with a high-bay lens optimized for mounting heights up to 40 feet and offers a wide detection range of approximately 40 to 80 feet, making it ideal for warehouses, industrial facilities, and gymnasiums. Operating on 120-277VAC input, the LE-MS2 includes an integrated relay capable of switching lighting loads up to 6 amps, eliminating the need for additional power packs. It also supports 0-10V dimming output for bi-level lighting, daylight harvesting, and energy-efficient lighting strategies. Bluetooth mesh technology enables wireless communication with other LiteLogic devices, allowing fixtures to be grouped, scheduled, and configured through a mobile application. With a transmission range of up to approximately 328 feet, the system supports scalable lighting control across large spaces. The sensor includes a built-in analog PIR detector and supports daylight harvesting functionality to automatically adjust lighting levels based on ambient light conditions. This helps reduce energy consumption while maintaining optimal illumination levels.
