Fiona Stokes Gilbert is an illustrator/ designer working in the greater Los Angeles area. She has spent the last 30 years designing consumer products and textiles for companies such as Disney, Mattel, Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers and Franciscan dinnerware. With a fondness for pattern, she integrates it frequently into her work. Having earned her BFA at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, she has continued to study and explore her art, with additional study at Otis Parsons, UCLA and The School of Visual Arts in NYC, broadening her skill set in different areas; from traditional drawing and painting to digital techniques.

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
