This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a blue dragonfly on a green background.

I have lived and worked in Vermont since 1999. Through many wonderful mentors I have learned what it truly means to be a Vermonter. I now work as a freelance graphic designer, donating many of these skills to local community, non-profits groups. I help organize fundraising events, support two CSA programs in our valley, and paint the town (literally) at Christmas time to promote the local shop owners and beautify the Old Business District of Manchester, Vermont. I closely align myself with a community arts organization in N. Bennington and have taught children and adults, workshops and afterschool classes through their in-house and outreach programs. At home, my husband and I are raising our two children, 26 chickens, 11 ducks and work to double our garden every spring, (so far, so good).

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
