The Trans-Atlantic VR331 series "Crash Bar Vertical Surface Rod" exit device is suitable for wide stile aluminum, wood and hollow metal doors. It's appropriate for commercial and industrial applications where heavy duty usage is anticipated. Moreover, it fits with doors up to 36 in. wide and 84 in. in height where a 12 in. extension is available for purchase for taller doors. It blends the utility of a vertical rod application with the appearance of a traditional "crash bar" device. It comes with a top/bottom latch and mounting hardware. However, the exterior lever trim is sold separately. These series meet the performance standards of Grade 2 and ADA compliant exit devices. Item is available in Aluminum and Duronodic finishes.
