This TurfEx walk-behind spreader is excellent for landscaping professionals or golf course groundskeepers. This spreader is perfect for spreading grass seed, pesticides, fertilizers and pelletized lime. Features include a durable, 3/16"-thick polyethylene hopper, 13" dia. tires on rustproof composite rims, and a heavy-duty transmission and wheel bearings for long life and durability. This spreader has a 10- to 12'W maximum spread width, a manual flow gate with spring-loaded gate control and ground-drive speed control for consistent, even spreading. Large, heavy-duty gears are made from Nylatron® GS, which provides superior wear and impact strength. Preset with a 2.5-mph impeller speed to match a normal walking pace. 75-lb. capacity. 25 lb. empty.
