Ultra-Rail Mat absorbs oils and fuels around railroad tracks during railcar maintenance. They are designed specifically with rail applications in mind. 30" wide rolls can be used on the outside of rails. The heavy-duty mat, made with Ultra-X-Tex, is designed specifically to absorb oils and fuels, not water, from railcars during railyard maintenance. It allows large volumes of water to pass through while sorbing liquid hydrocarbons, including petroleum, animal and vegetable oils. It is cost effective- abosrbs an average of 13 times its own weight of liquid hydrocarbons. Approximately 85-90% of sorbed oils can be reclaimed and the mats reused.
