The unit operates four fan speeds (high/medium-high/medium/low) and turns any three-speed fan into a four-speed fan. This device replaces a toggle switch so you can operate your fan from a convenient sliding switch on your wall. In addition, the full-range sliding dimmer switch on the wall plate allows you to dim incandescent lights. The 120-volt/60-hertz wall control features a three-wire installation in a standard junction box. UL/CUL listed, the unit can handle a fan maximum of 1-1/4 amps and a light maximum of 300 watts.
