The ZORO SELECT - 4307000274 is a stainless steel hex reducing bushing designed to connect pipes or fittings of different sizes. It features a hexagonal outer profile that allows tightening with a wrench; joint designed for threaded NPT connections; requires thread sealing; no pre-applied thread sealant. Constructed from 304 stainless steel; corrosion resistance and temperature tolerance are inherent material properties. The fitting has Male National Pipe Taper (MNPT) threads on the smaller end and Female NPT (FNPT) threads on the larger end, allowing adaption from a 2-1/2 inch female-threaded opening down to a 1 inch male-threaded connection.
