Description

Scotch Solvent Resistant Masking Tape 226 is a black polyethylene film laminated over saturated crepe paper that has excellent resistance against weathering and a wide range of damaging chemicals, solvents, water solutions, emulsions, and paint-strippers. The backing also features controlled stretch and tear to provide excellent handling and performance. In conjunction with natural rubber adhesive, this tape offers a fast bond, good holding power, and clean removal. Ideal for industrial painting, it can withstand bake temperatures up to 225 F (107 C) for 30 minutes. Such heat-resistance, adhesive strength, and solvent-resistance prepare Scotch Solvent Resistant Masking Tape 226 for protecting surfaces across demanding industries.
