The universal hose bibb mounting by Apollo provides a solid mounting surface for replacement sillcocks and hose bibbs. In addition to providing a rigid & reinforced surface for valve mounting, the universal mounting plate prevents drafts, moisture, insects and vermin from entering structures through gaps between the hose bibb and the outside wall. Using the universal mounting plate also reduces potential stress on the plumbing components of the system.
