The ASCO 8262H002 is a direct-acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed to control the passage of liquids and gases through an automated electromagnetic actuation. Constructed with a brass body, media compatibility is defined in the product specifications; refer to the datasheet for the list of supported media. Ambient temperature range: -13°F to 131°F. Fluid temperature rating: up to 180°F. Its 2-way/2-position valve body with a 1/8-inch orifice and nominal pipe size accommodates flow control with a flow coefficient (Cv) of 0.35. This valve can be mounted either horizontally or vertically and includes an coil and sealing components for installation.
