Ergonomically contoured seating is engineered to support a balanced work posture and help reduce fatigue. control allows function of the seat height activation and backrest adjustments by means of easily engaged levers which can be activated from the seated position. Seat tilt is fixed at 3-1/2 rearward while the backrest adjusts 8 forward and 13 rearward. 21" diameter non-adjustable 1" x 18-gauge tubular steel ring welded to top of legs, 8" above floor surface. maple 7-ply plywood seat with waterfall front; measures 16.5" wide x 15.25" deep x 0.5" thick. Maple 5-ply plywood backrest measures 14.5" wide x 8.75" deep x 0.25" thick. for low working heights such as desks or benches 32" or shorter. Provides a range of 16" - 20".
