It uses a swing check mechanism that supports one-way flow applications and is intended to reduce reverse flow, with horizontal or vertical mounting options. The valve features a ductile iron body with a 304 stainless steel check mechanism, 316 stainless steel spring, and Buna-N seat and seal materials.
