They feature a conventional 118-degree radial point; two spiral flutes; taper length geometry provides a 4xD depth-to-diameter ratio. The set meets ASME B94.11M-1993 dimensional/geometry requirements for drill bits in this set (series 2510). Its right-hand cutting direction accommodates drilling in carbon steel, alloy steel, and cast iron when used according to recommended feeds/speeds for the material type.
