It is constructed from steel with a zinc-plated finish and features a 1/4 inch NPT male connection. The coupling operates using a sleeve locking mechanism and is compatible with automotive style fittings, following the Tru-Flate-Automotive interchange standard. It is intended for use with hoses having a 3/8 inch inner diameter and matching hose fitting size. It is rated for fluid or air flow up to 736.23 liters per minute and maximum working pressure: 500 psi at 70°F. The nitrile seal O-ring is rated for operation within -40°F to 250°F.
