Electrically Actuated Ball Valves
A ball valve controls flow via a ball that has a hole through it to serve as a channel. To control flow, the ball is turned, regulating the amount of liquid or gas that can flow through the hole. Electrically actuated ball valves are controlled by an electrically powered actuator that is usually contained in a housing that sits atop the valve, and enables control of the valve (and flow) remotely. Top brands include Johnson Controls, Asahi, Siemens and others. Products are differentiated by dimensions, inclusions, connections size, material composition and other considerations.
