10kW Propane / 9kW Natural Gas Generator, Single Phase, Air Cooled, Automatic Standby

The Generac 7172 is a single-phase Automatic Standby Generator designed to provide reliable backup power for residential or small commercial applications. This air-cooled unit is powered by a Generac 460 cc engine that operates at 3,600 RPM and is compatible with both Liquid Propane (LP) and Natural Gas (NG).

• Sound Level: Operates at 61 dBA. Fuel and Consumption:
  • Fuel Connection: Utilizes a standard 3/4 in. NPT pipe connection.
  • Fuel Pressure: Requires a minimum of 10 in. wc and a maximum of 12 in. wc for both fuel types.
  • Consumption at Half Load: Consumes 0.97 gph of LP or 101 cu ft/hr of Natural Gas. Construction and Intelligence:
    • Enclosure: The unit is housed in an aluminum enclosure finished in a bisque color.
    • Automatic Operation: Includes a 100A Transfer Switch
