Grease Traps and Interceptors
A grease trap (or grease interceptor), gives fats, oils and grease a place to go as they are poured down a sink drain. As they cool, these fats rise to the top of the trap and the wastewater drains from an outlet in the bottom. Products vary by flow rate and other considerations. Other types of solids interceptors include drain strainers, drain stoppers and drain openers.
