It is intended to change the direction of flow in a piping system by 90 degrees. The elbow fits nominal pipe sizes of 2-1/2 inches with a pipe schedule of 10. For grooved-end piping systems using 2-1/2 in NPS and Schedule 10; media compatibility should be verified against applicable codes and service conditions.
