HID Fixture Reflectors
High intensity discharge lamps are categorized as arc lamps, which run on an electrical gas discharge systems. Instead of using the traditional filament that is inside light bulbs, HID lamps use a capsule of gas to enable the arc's initial strike for power. An HID system generates less power than what a standard halogen bulb produces, and the lighting typically resembles the color of natural daylight. Our HID fixture reflector casings are constructed from aluminum and acrylic materials, and feature open and enclosed bottoms. For installing HID bay light fixtures, we have a variety of HID fixture accessories such as flange kits and hooks for hanging.
