Description

The E308LT1-1/4 Stainless Steel Flux Cored Wire is formulated for MAG welding of low-carbon 18%Cr-8%Ni stainless steels. It is ideal for joining austenitic stainless steel types such as AISI 304, 304L, 304LN, and related ASTM grades. This wire delivers excellent weldability with optimized ferrite content, reducing the risk of cracking. Its performance includes low spatter, easy slag removal, and consistent weld soundness. Suitable for all welding positions, it supports a wide range of applications from piping to pressure vessels. Compatible with 100% CO2 or 75% Ar/25% CO2 shielding gases and operates on DC+ polarity.
