Description
The E71T-1C/1M Mild Steel Flux Cored Wire is engineered for high-strength welding of 490MPa tensile steel, delivering dependable performance across demanding applications. Supplied on a 10-pound spool and available in .035'' or .045'' sizes, this titania-type wire is optimized for all-position welding. It is commonly used in general fabrication, shipbuilding, offshore structures, bridge work, and heavy machinery. The wire operates with either 100% CO2 or a 75% Argon / 25% CO2 shielding gas and requires DCEP DC+. Welders benefit from low fume generation, minimal spatter, smooth bead appearance, and excellent arc stability. With solid mechanical properties and good impact strength at low temperatures, it is a reliable choice for both structural and fabrication tasks.
