The unit operates on 120/240 VAC, 60 Hz power with a maximum resistive load capacity of 15 amperes, delivering up to 1800 watts at 120 VAC or 3600 watts at 240 VAC, making it suitable for most standard electric heating installations. This thermostat features three flexible temperature control modes: ambient air mode for traditional room temperature sensing, floor mode for direct floor temperature regulation, and a combined ambient with floor limits mode that prioritizes comfort while protecting floor surfaces from overheating. The integrated 5 mA Class A GFCI provides essential ground fault protection, enhancing safety in moisture-prone environments. The control temperature range spans 40 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit for ambient monitoring and 40 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit for floor temperature applications, with a 1-degree Fahrenheit differential ensuring precise temperature regulation.
