Ionizing & Static Removal Bars
Electronic devices, clean rooms and critical work stations (such as laminar flow cabinets and hoods designed to prevent contamination) can be compromised or damaged by sparks from excess static electricity build up. Ionizing bars (AKA ionizer or air ionizer) and static removal bars are a form of active static control that reduces static electricity in the air by correcting imbalances in the number of positively and negatively charged atoms. These static removers neutralize electron disparities to mitigate product rejection, safety issues, and the attraction and bonding of dust and dirt. In some packaging operations, packaging failures (especially those involving styrofoam or plastic bags) and many other static problems can be prevented with the use of an ion air jet. Ionizing bars vary by length and other considerations.
