The 2161 full-body harness is Ironwear’s premier selection for fall-protection equipment. Featuring 4 ultra-lightweight aluminum D-rings at the sides and back with a breaking strength of 5,000 lbs, this harness has a 310 lb ANSI capacity and a 420 lb OSHA capacity, meeting ANSI Z359.11 standards. An independent SRL web connector is included on the sewn-in back support system for an additional reinforced connection point, while the quick-release connection point at the chest ensures a safe and convenient discharge. Adjustment points at the chest, shoulders and legs – including grommet adjustments on the belt and leg straps – ensure a stable but comfortable fit, with back and shoulder pads to reduce tension. The heavy-duty tool belt rounds out this harness’s impressive offerings, providing dual tool lanyard connection points for convenient personal storage.
Designed specifically for industrial use, this harness can be adapted to a wide range of fall-arrest systems. It is not approved for use in any non-occupational applications.
To clean, use a sponge with a hard side and wash with warm water and mild soap, then rinse and leave to air dry. Remove any padding, if possible. Be sure to clean between any grommets and buckles. Avoid submerging the in water or cleaning solution by hanging the harness on or draping it over a sturdy base (so that it does not touch the ground) during cleaning. Do NOT machine wash or dry. Do NOT use aggressive cleaning solutions such as bleach or acetone. Employing any methods other than those recommended above may compromise the quality of the harness, resulting in performance below advertised standards.
