This saw is a bit of a luxury item, I'll admit. But it pays for itself every time I bring it out. Doors are incredibly convenient and sheet goods are usually difficult to cut accurately on a jobsite tablesaw.
Many people, when they hear track saw, don't think of a tool used in framing. I would argue it not only works in finish carpentry and cabinetry but also works in rough carpentry as well. The depth adjust knob is about the only weak point of the saw otherwise it is built like a tank.
The saw cuts like a very powerful corded saw. I've done around 280 linear feet of cutting in ¾" plywood on one charge of the Flexvolt 6ah battery. I've used some other brands of track saw and prefer the plunge action of this saw. This is a very fine, solid and well designed tool with excellent fit and finish.
