Limit switches are commonly used in industrial machinery that have repeated automatic operations. The limit switch is activated when a machine or component comes into contact with an actuator or operating lever. It regulates the electrical circuit that controls the machine or its parts and can be installed as a control instrument, or as an emergency device to prevent overheating or malfunctioning. Micro limit switches are typically found on control circuits and, because of their small size, fit in tight or hard-to-reach spaces that larger models can’t. Safety switches are used to monitor machine operations to protect the user as well as the machine. Pressure switches close a contact when a preset fluid pressure level is reached. Choose the switch that best meets your needs.
