Description
/ 4 Pcs The paramount concern during towing is the safe and secure transportation of trailers. To help you ensure firm connectivity of trailers during towing we’ve introduced safety chains with clevis snap hooks and chain retainer. It will give you stability, safety, and a robust link to curb potential accidents. You can further secure trailers from getting detached in case of hitch failure. It’s best to contribute to road safety with our safety chain. Best Length & Strength: Our safety chain has a clevis snap hook (with a latch) and chain retainer. The link diameter, hook size, and chain retainer are 3/8 inches whereas the chain length is 36 inches. We have designed it with Grade-70 steel, which has a break strength of 25,000 lbs. Durable Material: The chain has a G70 rating, which ensures exceptional tensile strength, abrasion, and fray resistance. The chain and hook are galvanized, which is coated with durable zinc to resist rust and corrosion. Meanwhile, we’ve applied oil to the chain retainer to reduce friction, wear and tear, and the effects of various other environmental factors. Quick-release Design: We’ve strategically used a clevis snap hook with a latch. It will ensure quick and easy attachment and detachment of the safety chains. It will increase the efficiency when hitching and unhitching the trailers. Also, the latch in the clevis hook of our safety chains will intentionally reduce the risk of unhooking during transit (even when encountering bumps or vibrations). Secure Attachment: This safety chain has a removable galvanized pin in a clevis hook and a split pin in the chain retainer to prevent the hook from inadvertently opening and releasing the safety chain. It’s to ensure easy chain replacement and installation. Also, the safety clip in the hook makes the traction process safer, smoother towing, and a reliable connection. Guideline: Use two chains of equal length when connecting safety chains for towing. Crisscross the safety chains under the trailer tongue and hook it onto the trailer hitch to support the trailer’s coupler. Do not exceed the working load limits (WLL) to avoid property damage and serious physical injury.
