The leak proof construction and unrestricted passages permit fast and accurate liquid level response. The square shank with pipe thread screws horizontally into a tapped hole. The gauge can be disassembled for installation in very tight places. This brass elbow gauge features a 1/2 diameter glass sight protected by a shield. The shield can be revolved to the most convenient position for viewing or taken off completely for cleaning. 1/4 female NPT cap to vent the gauge back into the reservoir. A Teflon washer reduces friction between the cap and the glass during installation and adjustments. Viton seals are used. The unit tolerates temperatures up to 300° F.
