An adjustable precision needle valve controls the flow rate; it has a friction lock to guard against loosening from vibration. The flow rate can be adjusted from an extremely low drop rate to a stream. These valves are especially useful when small quantities of liquid are needed. Their use can be extended to any application requiring adjustable, visible flow control. Drop feeding can be observed through the glass viewing window in the valve body. The valve sight chamber is vented to ensure proper flow and prevent airlock, withstanding up to 5 PSI DC and 10 PSI AC inlet to drip nozzle pressure. The Sight Feed Valve has 3/4-32 thread for connecting a manual or solenoid shutoff. The valve features an aluminum alloy valve body, plated steel components, glass sight, Viton seals, and a 1/8 diameter port. Total height of the valve is 2 15/16. This sight feed valve is suitable for temperatures up to 225° F.
