The Rheem G100-200 water heater is a heavy-duty commercial gas water heater engineered for high-demand applications, such as restaurants, hotels, and large industrial facilities. As part of the "Universal" series, this 100-gallon unit is designed for maximum installation flexibility, featuring water connections at the top, front, and rear to simplify retrofitting. With a massive 199,900 BTU input and an 80% thermal efficiency rating, it delivers a first-hour recovery of 264 gallons, ensuring a consistent supply of hot water under heavy loads.

- The heater features a first-hour recovery rating of 264 gallons. Recovery rates are determined by the required temperature rise:
- 100°F Rise: 194 GPH
- 140°F Rise: 138 GPH
- 70°F Rise: 277 GPH
- 50°F Rise: 388 GPH Construction Specifications:
- The tank is constructed of heavy-gauge steel with fiberglass insulation and a 30.25-inch jacket diameter. It utilizes stainless steel burners and is protected against corrosion by patented anode rods. The assembly includes a factory-installed Temperature and Pressure (T&P) relief valve and a full-port brass drain valve.
- Installation and Connectivity
- The "Universal" body style provides multiple water connection points to accommodate different piping configurations:
- Water Connections: 1-1/2" NPT (Top) and 2" NPT (Front/Rear).
- Gas Inlet: 3/4" NPT.
- Venting: 6" draft hood for standard atmospheric venting.
- Electrical Requirements: 120V AC operating voltage for the Direct Spark to Pilot ignition system and LED diagnostics.
