These rubber sheets are made from a tough and reliable synthetic rubber called styrene butadiene rubber (SBR). Each elastomer sheet goes through a chemical heating process called vulcanization, increasing its durability and giving the solid elastomer a smooth and solid finish. This vulcanized rubber sheet has a durometer of 70A, which means the material has a hard surface with minimal flexibility. This sheet rubber product has excellent resistance to abrasions, making it perfect for heavy-duty applications whether they are industrial, commercial, or even residential.
SBR, unlike other types of synthetic rubber, is designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the outdoors. This styrene rubber has superior resistance to abrasions, moisture, UV rays, and most damaging weather effects. With a working temperature range from -10° F to 190° F, this hard rubber sheet maintains excellent performance, even in extreme heat. This makes the thin sheet rubber ideal for industrial applications, as the rubber materials can handle the intense friction of heavy machinery without showing wear for a long time.
