Single U-Joint, 1/4" x 6 mm Bores, 0.745" (18.9 mm) OD, Stainless

This Ruland single friction bearing universal joint has 0.2500" x 6mm bores, a 0.745" (18.9mm) outer diameter, and a 2.688" (68.3mm) length. It is best suited for applications requiring a short length and high torque (when compared to double universal joints of an equivalent OD). This single universal joint is made of a block, two pins, and two yokes. These components are manufactured to tight tolerances using proprietary processes that ensure smooth operation and high misalignment accommodation up to 45°, which is a significant improvement over commodity style single universal joints. It is made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The user can add a boot to protect the joint from unwanted contaminants and increase service life.
