Turning Tool Parts
Turning is a machining process which rotates, or spins, the workpiece while the fixed turning tool is applied to achieve some effect such as a groove, a cut, a slot, a bore, a knurl, an edge, and so on. Examples of turning tools include lathes and milling cutters. You might expect there to be a very wide selection of parts for this broad category of tools, and you would be correct. While milling cutter parts and indexable boring parts comprise some of the parts for some of these machining systems, turning tool parts number in the thousands and include all kinds of screws, shims, draw bars, extensions and more.
