Ultrasonic Leak Detectors
Ultrasonic leak detectors use the science of ultrasonics to detect leaks in pressurized liquids and gasses by sound. These detectors convert the high frequency leak sound to a lower range where the hissing of the leak can be traced to its source. An example of one such device is a refrigerant leak detector for HVAC systems. Products vary by inclusions (headphones, batteries, carrying cases, etc.) and specific functions, among other considerations.
