Description
The WHEELER-REX 398268 is a hydraulic pipe cutter intended for cutting cast iron, tile, and concrete pipe with diameters from 2 to 6 inches. It operates using a hand pump with a pressure range of 8,700 to 9,000 psi and is compatible with pipe sizes ranging from 2 to 6 inches in diameter. The cutter has forged steel jaws and a hardened steel chain; the chain action squeezes and “pops” the pipe and does not rotate around it, requiring 2 to 3 inches of clearance for operation. Includes a carrying case, hose, and hand pump for use with a remote hydraulic pump system (per included components).
