This is an old-school approach to a common problem, factor in degradation of the tip, and the need to buy a replacement tool, leaves you with an expensive repair for an ineffective tool. Problem solved! Take a standard commercial construction drywall screw, and adapt it to a precision-made stainless steel holder, and you have a new product with a replaceable tip that stays sharp every time. We did not stop there. We added a convenient, high-impact slide hammer made from high-density hardened steel. Small enough to fit anywhere, but powerful enough to get the job done fast. Oh and to protect the tool and your investment, we black-oxide coat it to prevent rust, corrosion, and to add lubricity to the slide hammer action.
