Description
The ZORO SELECT - 1RTU1 is a hex reducing bushing stainless steel pipe fitting designed to connect differing pipe or fitting sizes by adapting a larger female-threaded opening to a smaller male-threaded connection. Material: 316 Stainless Steel; corrosion resistance and temperature resistance are material properties specified by the material standard. Hex flats provide wrench engagement surfaces; tighten per installation guidelines and torque specifications; forms a threaded joint; leak-tightness depends on proper installation and sealing; no pre-applied sealant is provided. Key Features:
- Material: 316 Stainless Steel, conforming to ASTM A182 for the base material.
- Configuration: Hex Reducing Bushing shape with a male-to-female threaded connection (MNPT x FNPT).
- Size: Connects 1 inch male NPT threads to 1/2 inch female NPT threads.
- Pressure rating: Class 3000; maximum working pressure 3000 psi at 100°F.
- Steam Pressure: Rated for 2500 psi at 350°F.
- Standards: Threads conform to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1; meets ASME B16.11 specifications.
- No pre-applied thread sealant or included seal is provided with the fitting.
