Description
The WESTWARD ZORO SELECT - 5PXJ4 includes drill bits and hand taps for metric thread cutting and drilling applications. This 18-piece set contains nine high speed steel drill bits with black oxide finish and nine high speed steel hand taps with bright, uncoated finish, covering sizes from M2.5 to M12. The included drill bits and taps are for use on the listed workpiece materials: steel, stainless steel, alloyed aluminum, alloyed nickel, and malleable cast iron, and is compatible with metric thread limits D3 through D6 (right-hand threads) with straight flute taps featuring plug chamfers. The drill bits have a 118-degree point angle; the specified pilot hole dimension supports cutting up to 75% of thread height. The tools are organized in a metal index case for organized storage and portability.
