This fitting is rated for use with air, natural gas, oil, potable water, and steam within specified conditions. It has a maximum rated pressure of 4,600 psi, per product specifications, and conforms to ANSI B31.1 standards. The fitting is manufactured in accordance with low-lead content requirements for potable water safety, and it features female NPT connections on both ends with differing nominal pipe sizes of 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch.
