Description
Nylon Insert Flange Lock Nuts have a wide flange at one end, which acts as an integrated washer. The flange serves to distribute the pressure of the nut over the part being secured. This nut has a nylon collar insert - which increases friction on the screw thread. This helps keep the nut in place, preventing it from loosening over time due to vibrations or wear and tear.
