About Capacitor-Start Blower Motors
Some motorized applications, such as HVAC, call for a motor that can start and “torque up” quickly. An onboard motor start capacitor makes these motors well-suited to those types of applications, or applications that require a single phase motor to maintain a charge during operation and ensure consistent performance.
