The CHICAGO-LATROBE - 55305 Drill Bit and Tap Set includes 36 pieces comprising 18 high speed steel drill bits and 18 high speed steel hand taps intended for drilling and tapping operations in stainless steel and other compatible materials. The set uses fractional inch measurements and covers drill bit sizes from #36 to 39/64 inch, and tap thread sizes from #6-32 to 1/2"-20 with UNC and UNF thread standards. The taps feature straight flutes, a plug chamfer, right-hand thread direction, and a 2B thread limit. The set is housed in a metal index case and is intended for manual tapping applications.
