Description
The DIXON - N4S4-B is a hose coupling with a sleeve locking mechanism intended for tool-free connection and disconnection when used with compatible couplers. It is a male plug compatible with Bowes style couplers, intended for use on the end of hoses or pipes. Constructed from brass with zinc plating, this coupling accepts 1/2 in inner diameter hoses via a 1/2 in barbed hose connection. It uses nitrile O-rings to form a seal under specified pressure and temperature conditions and is rated for operation within -40°F to 250°F. The coupling is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi at 70°F ambient temperature and is rated for a maximum flow rate of 5,776.64 L/min.
