The Exitronix LED-RX Series Weatherproof LED Emergency Light provides dependable emergency illumination for exterior and wet-location applications. Designed with a sealed, gasketed enclosure, this unit delivers reliable performance in environments exposed to moisture, temperature fluctuations, and other demanding conditions. The fixture features two fully adjustable, high-intensity LED lamp heads rated at approximately 1.9 watts each, allowing illumination to be directed precisely where it is needed along exit paths, walkways, and safety areas. Energy-efficient LED technology provides bright illumination while reducing maintenance requirements compared to traditional emergency lighting systems. Constructed with rugged UL 94-5VA flame-retardant polycarbonate housing, the LED-RX Series includes a fully gasketed and sealed hinged cover designed to protect internal components from moisture and environmental exposure. The fixture is UL listed for wet locations and operates in temperatures ranging from -20 DegC to 50 DegC (-4 DegF to 122 DegF), making it suitable for outdoor or harsh indoor environments. The unit operates on 120/277VAC dual-voltage input and includes a maintenance-free nickel-cadmium battery that provides a minimum 90-minute emergency run time during power interruptions. The fixture automatically switches to emergency mode when AC power is lost to help maintain safe building egress and support life-safety code compliance. Remote-capable models can power up to two compatible LED remote heads, allowing expanded emergency lighting coverage where additional illumination is required.
