This combination fixture combines illuminated EXIT signage with fully adjustable LED emergency lamp heads to maintain safe building egress during power outages. High-efficiency LEDs illuminate the EXIT legend with bright, even light for clear visibility along the path of egress. The sign uses long-life red or green LEDs paired with a color-matched lens to deliver consistent illumination while reducing energy consumption and maintenance requirements compared to traditional incandescent exit signs. Two fully adjustable LED lamp heads provide targeted emergency illumination to help light corridors, doorways, and exit routes during power interruptions. The adjustable design allows installers to direct light precisely where it is needed to support safe evacuation paths. Constructed with rugged injection-molded thermoplastic housing rated UL 94 5VA flame-retardant, the VLEDC Series offers durability and resistance to denting, corrosion, and wear in commercial environments. The universal design includes two faceplates, a backplate, and a mounting canopy for flexible installation. The fixture operates on universal 120-277VAC input and includes a maintenance-free nickel-cadmium battery that provides a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency run time during a power outage. The system automatically switches to emergency mode when AC power is lost and recharges within 24 hours once power is restored. The unit supports universal mounting configurations including wall, ceiling, or end mounting, making it suitable for offices, retail stores, schools, healthcare facilities, warehouses, and other commercial applications requiring code-compliant exit signage and emergency lighting.
