The traditional Gerstner front lid secures all drawers when closed and stows beneath the drawer stack when open, allowing complete access to the interior. Crafted from quartersawn white oak and finished in Gerstner’s rich Golden Oak stain, this chest showcases the distinctive “tiger stripe” figuring prized in quartersawn lumber. The golden tone reflects the warmth of aged oak while enhancing the natural grain character. Over time, oak will deepen in color, developing even greater richness and visual depth. The varied drawer heights provide flexibility for both smaller precision items and larger stored pieces. Each drawer is individually hand-fitted to ensure smooth operation and precise alignment.
