DLAX-PF-15/30G is a battery-powered low-level drum alarm with integrated suction pipe, designed to prevent pumps from running dry on 15- and 30-gallon chemical drums. It combines a rugged construction with an attention-getting audible and visual alarm, making it well suited for demanding industrial, plating, and chemical-handling environments where reliability and ease of installation are critical. Because the unit is completely battery powered, it can be installed practically anywhere without access to AC power, from remote drum stations to temporary setups in maintenance areas. Gizmo uses a long-life lithium battery system that delivers years of service and acts as an uninterruptible power source, so the alarm remains active even during facility power outages. This design makes the DLAX-PF-15/30G especially useful for critical chemical feeds such as pH adjustment, wastewater treatment, or dosing skids, where an uneXpected empty drum could damage pumps or compromise process quality. When the liquid level falls to the adjustable set point, the internal float switch actuates a loud warble-tone buzzer and a high-visibility flashing LED on the enclosure. The warble tone is engineered to cut through high ambient industrial noise, helping operators quickly identify which drum needs service without eXtensive searching. A thumbscrew allows the float/suction assembly depth to be adjusted without tools, so technicians can fine-tune the alarm point for different chemicals, suction heights, or plant standards. The enclosure and wetted materials are chosen for corrosion resistance: polypropylene pipe and float, PVC or similar plastics for mounts, and no eXposed metal in contact with the process fluid.
