About Gravity Flow Racks

Flow racks are a type of storage system used to store goods in an organized and efficient manner. They are designed to ensure that items move from one location to another with minimal effort. Flow racks come in wide varieties, including gravity flow racks, shelves, and flow shelving.

Types of Flow Racks

Gravity flow racks use the force of gravity to move items along the track. A gravity rack is a stationary rack that utilizes gravity-assisted rollers or wheels for easy access and retrieval. Gravity shelves are similar to traditional shelving units but feature additional support beams at the bottom of each shelf which helps prevent items from sliding off. Flow shelving is typically used in warehouses to control quick inventory.

Materials Used For Flow Racks

Flow racks are typically made from metal or plastic materials such as steel, aluminum, and polyethylene. The material choice depends on the application; some materials may be better suited for certain types of goods than others.

Applications Of Flow Racks

Flow racks can be used in many industries, such as manufacturing, retail, warehousing, distribution centers, and more. They provide easy access to stored items while ensuring efficient inventory control. Additionally, they can be used for hanging clothes such as uniforms or protective gear. Pallet racking, flow systems, gravity flow shelving, and flow rack systems are all available solutions for organizing a warehouse or stockroom.
